Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?
In England you usually do not need planning permission for a new or replacement front driveway if it uses a permeable surface, such as resin-bound or permeable block paving, or if rainwater runs off into a lawn or border. A non-permeable surface over 5 square metres that drains onto the road normally does. If you need a dropped kerb, that is arranged through your local council. We will advise you on this during your survey.
How long does a driveway installation take?
