Concrete Driveways in Lymm, Warrington & Cheshire

Strong, long-lasting plain and imprinted concrete driveways, laid by a local, family-run team.

Durable Concrete Driveways for Your Home

Concrete is one of the strongest driveway surfaces you can choose. Laid properly, it takes the weight of everyday parking for years, needs little maintenance and gives a clean, solid finish. Imprinted concrete adds a pattern and colour to the surface, giving the look of stone, slate or cobbles in one continuous slab.

The key is preparation. We dig out to the correct depth, compact a solid sub-base, add reinforcement where needed and plan expansion joints and drainage falls so the concrete stays sound. If you are comparing surfaces, we also lay block paving, resin and tarmac.

Concrete Driveway FAQs

How long does a concrete driveway take to cure?

Concrete needs time to gain strength before it is driven on. We will tell you exactly when it is safe to walk on and when you can park on it, based on the weather and the type of concrete used.

Will a concrete driveway crack?

All concrete can develop fine surface cracks over time, but correct preparation, reinforcement and expansion joints greatly reduce the risk. That preparation is a big part of how we install every concrete drive.

What is imprinted concrete?

Imprinted concrete is coloured and then pressed with a pattern while it is still wet, giving the appearance of stone, slate or cobbles. It is usually sealed afterwards to protect the colour and surface.

Does a concrete driveway need planning permission?

Concrete is not permeable, so a front driveway over 5 square metres in England usually needs planning permission unless rainwater drains to a lawn, border or soakaway on your property. We will plan the drainage with you during the survey.
